Today we decided to really go to the Como Zoo since we didn't go last weekend. It was a lot of fun. Derrick got to see all kinds of animals. There was the cutest little orangutan there that was very popular. There was also a baby giraffe. After the zoo we went to Q'Cumber's for lunch, which turned out OK. We made sure Derrick didn't see the suckers as we first walked in. Then we went to Ikea and got Derrick a new chair. We have been trying to get a decent looking chair to put in our living room that is just Derrick's. It was quite the success! He loves it. He likes to put it right up to his new ottoman and watch Ice Age on his own DVD player. He also likes to put it up to the coffee table and have snacks. What a spoiled kid! We had a really fun day. And of course, the singing video!

I'm a stay-at-home mom. I live in Woodbury, MN with Rick and Derrick. We think it's a beautiful place to live. We feel very lucky to be here. I spend all my time with Derrick. We're hard to separate from each other. I really enjoy running and my eliptical machine. I do also make it to the gym once in a while. I spend a lot of time without Rick during the baseball season, but once it's over we spend 24/7 together for about 4-5 months! I'm always looking forward to the off-season. Let's just hope this season goes into October!
