This morning I woke up thinking that Derrick was going to freak out because he had to go to preschool, but he didn't!! He was just fine...even to wake up and get dressed. Then, when we got to his school, he was excited. We got to his classroom and he went right in and sat down by some other kids! He likes it! YAY!!! Yesterday Rick and I joined Anytime Fitness by Derrick's preschool so that we would have something to do closer to his school, rather than driving all the way back to Woodbury. So Rick and I worked out there this morning and was very impressed. I almost want to cancel my membership to Lifetime, but probably won't. After preschool we went out to eat and Derrick actually ate real food! He had macaroni and cheese, beans, crackers, slushy and cookies!
Derrick has really been getting into all of the Halloween decorations that Rick has been putting up. He loves pumpkins so we got out his trick-or-treat pumpkin from last year for him to play with.
Fun part of the day...Rick and I went out on a real date...alone. We haven't been on a date since spring training so it was really nice. Ashley came over to watch Derrick. When we got home he was asleep next to her on the couch. It was really cute. Then in the middle of the night we heard a knock on our door. Derrick got out of his bed, opened his door, and instead of opening our door and coming in he politely knocked!
