Today was such a great day I wish I could live it over and over again! We woke up in a mood to go out and about. It was such a beautiful day. At breakfast Derrick sang into a flashlight, pretending it was a microphone. He's been doing that a bit lately. Our first stop of the day was at Country Sun Nursery. There's tons of pumpkins, a small feeding zoo, hay rides with tractors and a big haunted house. Derrick was in heaven. He fed the goats and petted all the animals. He even posed for the camera sticking his head through the holes! He's growing up very quickly right now. We got a bunch of pumpkins and a ghost. Derrick then took a couple of rides on the car machine. There were a lot of other machines, but all he wanted was the car one!
Then we went to lunch at Ruby Tuesday's. We ordered a kids meal for Derrick, macaroni and cheese...and he ate it again! He ate a ton of it. He got to tell the waitress what he wanted and said thank you. He was really really good and cute! What a change he's been lately.
Then we went to downtown Stillwater. There just happened to be a Jazz and Art Festival going on. A lot of people brought their dogs and Derrick really liked that! It was just fun to out on such a nice day enjoying our time together. I felt like I was on cloud 9.
Derrick snoozed on the way home and then Rick got tired when we got home. So Derrick and Rick chilled for a few minutes together on the couch.
Later in the evening we went to Craig and Brianna's new place. It's very nice. Big house with a really big yard. We all sat out by a fire in their backyard. Claire and Derrick were so excited to see each other. They haven't been able to play for quite a while. They were very cute and played and played and ran around all over the yard. This was definately a great day to remember!
